Awesome day today, gorgeous weather! finished before 10am. tremendous ride, doubly so because of the inspiration provided by my unbelievably generous sponsors, whose kindness have put my fundraising over 15 THOUSAND DOLLARS for just this year! amazing! another longer update late tonight, but THANK YOU for making this an absolutely UNBELIEVABLE year!

Not sure I have a lot to add, beyond what I shared in my last update.

Sunday's ride was probably the best ride I've had up Cape Cod. The weather was beautiful, but not too hot, and the crowds of spectators were out in force, after being reduced by Day 1's cool overcast. I felt strong for most of the ride, and found myself way ahead of the pack. It made for an amazing day.

... Which quickly went downhill when it took 50 minutes to find my bag at the finish, but it eventually turned up. Sheeri and I spent the rest of the day wandering around Provincetown, including wading in the harbor, before packing up and spending two or three hours at Head of the Meadow beach in Truro, which was simply marvelous. Then we returned to Sandwich for ice cream and the hotel's hot tub.

It really was a great way to end the ride, and of course this year's fundraising also played a big part in that joy. I'll have to take some time to think about how I can communicate how moved I am by my friends' generosity, because it completely surprised me. I guess I just know some amazingly open-hearted people, and that makes me really hopeful that we can continue to make great strides against cancer.

Ultimately, that's what the PMC is all about, and I am honored by your support.
