I didn't know about your blog until tonight, and I got caught up in your old blog entries. I've been meaning to read this book and your post has convinced me to put it on hold through the BPL.
I recently finished a book called "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks", which is about a bunch of cells harvested by a Johns Hopkins doctor from a cervical tumor in the 1960s. The book is incredibly interesting; it follows Henrietta Lacks' life, her illness, what was done with her cells, and how her family has tried to live with her legacy. If you're looking for a good read, you might like this book.
