The Cheese That Goes "Crunch"?

Okay, I admit it. I like stale cheese balls, okay? Is that so egregious? Can I help it if I like a little toothsome chewiness in that particular corn meal-based snack food?

I think I can trace this particular predilection back to college days, when Linda and I were so poor that generic store-brand cheese balls were about the only snack we could afford.

Come on… Say “Cheese”!

One evening while camping, we determined that cheese balls (or whatever extruded cheese product you like) were actually Ideal Matter. If you put them in the fire, they first flamed up (fire, of course) exuded an odd smoke (air), then produced water (exercise for the reader) and finally turned to ash (earth.)

So everyone should eat them.
