Interesting times

I am in the process of seeing how truly amazing life can be.

Today, which is only the third evening in the past sixteen days that I haven't spent at the hospital, I came home after class to find water pouring out of my ceiling. Apparently a pipe carrying water from my A/C unit had backed up and overflowed a reservoir for condensation.

The leak has been stopped temporarily, but I'll have no A/C until it's fixed.

And I just took yesterday off work as a "sanity/recoup day"! Argh! Or, as I just told awfief, "When it shits, it pours!"

How are YOU doing? 16 days in a row visiting a hospital could make a person insane! Sorry about the leak.

Good thing you took some time off. Too bad you can't take a few more.

Every time I start thinking again that it'd be nice to own my own condo or home, some friend of mine starts having Home Problems to make me appreciate apartment life. Sorry that it's your turn (and x's, too) this time.

Life truly is amazing. The human body is astounding, especially in how it heals and mends itself. And the human mind just blows me away. There are so many things that are so intricately interconnected in so many ways that we can't begin to fathom...

Hope you and your friend are doing well. I'd send you some mending-type energy, but I kinda gotta hog them for myself for a while longer. ;) But I hope peace, calm, and survival-type energies will help, cause that's what I'm sending your way.
